FSC planned and coordinated media coverage for the Grand Opening Gala of the Fairmont Pittsburgh hotel – an invitation-only event for 500 of Pittsburgh’s most influential citizens, including local and state government officials, community leaders and local celebrities.
By developing specialized media lists and a robust series of press releases, FSC generated awareness and interest in the hotel, its restaurant and bar in the six months leading up to the grand opening. FSC coordinated media and VIP “hard hat” tours of the hotel site to build buzz about the project and also developed social networking content for the hotel’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
